About Fleet & District Neighbourhood Watch
Fleet & District Neighbourhood Watch came into being in 1991 with the encouragement of the Home Office. It grew and grew so that today there are some 6,000 participating households and 260 co-ordinators. It includes urban Fleet and Church Crookham & the rural communities of Crookham Village, Ewshot, Winchfield, Dogmersfield and Crondall.
The area has a population of some 50,000 people and is situated in the north east of Hampshire. Aldershot, home of the British Army and Farnborough, birthplace of British Aviation and site of the famous International Airshow, lie nearby.
Organisation
Fleet & District Neighbourhood Watch is run by a committee consisting of:
- Chairman
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Editor
- A Co-ordinators' Representative
- A Police Representative
- A Representative from Hart District Council
- Co-opted others
- Webmaster
- Some 260 Co-ordinators without whose help the system would collapse.

The Committee meets bi-monthly.
