Detectives in Farnborough are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at a petrol station in Bridge Road on Friday, September 26. At around 8.30pm a man walked into the Total petrol station and demanded money from the cashier. The man threatened the victim with a Gurkha kukri knife and then stole £100 and made off on foot towards the One Stop.
The man is described as:
- In his 20s
- Between 5ft 7ins and 6ft tall
- Slim build
- Wearing dark trousers, dark shoes and a dark coloured jacket with a fur-lined hood which was up over his head.
Detective Constable Andrew Rose, of Aldershot CID, said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed this robbery in particular the drivers of a black Landrover Freelander and a red motorcycle, who entered the petrol station soon after the incident and may have seen the robber. "We would ask anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time to contact police as soon as possible."
