Police in Yateley are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Hook on Saturday, April 11.

Between 2.15pm and 2.45pm a window was smashed and attempts were made to open other windows at an address in Elms Road.

Entry to the property was eventually gained when the patio doors were smashed. However nothing was stolen from the address.

PC Jon Garland, of the Yateley Targeted Patrol Team, said: "This incident happened in the middle of the afternoon when a number of people would have been around.

"I would ask anyone who was in the area and saw or heard anything to contact police as soon as possible."
