Detectives in Aldershot are appealing for information after a robbery in the town during the early hours of Saturday, May 2.
At around 2.50am a 22-year-old man was making his way home from the town centre along The Warren towards York Road when he was assaulted and had his wallet and mobile phone stolen.
The victim suffered a broken nose and cuts and bruises and was taken to Frimley Park Hospital for treatment.
Police are keen to speak to two men and a woman who were seen in the area at the time in connection with this incident.
Detective Sergeant Cheryl Croucher, of Aldershot CID, said:
“This was an unprovoked attack on a young man who was making his way home after a night out.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident and may have vital information about those responsible.
“We would also remind people to be vigilant when walking alone and in particular keep items such as mobile phones, MP3 players and wallets out of sight.”
