Residents in the Manor Park ward will see a new face out and about as PCSO Matt McCarthy joins the Safer Neighbourhoods Team.
Working alongside beat manager PC Andy Jones, the team are patrolling the area and talking to the community to find out what their policing priorities are.
PCSO McCarthy said:
“I have already spent time familiarising myself with the key areas of the beat to understand the issues that are affecting local residents.
“Along with PC Jones, I am looking forward to working with the local council and other partner agencies to find long term solutions and improve the quality of life for everyone in the community.”
