Police are appealing for information after two incidents in Hook on Friday, May 22.

Firstly at around 9.30pm a man was verbally abused as he walked along Station Road by a group of around eight men carrying beer glasses.

Then at around 9.45pm a man and a woman were attacked by a group of men as they walked home along a path between the White Hart pub and The Parade.

Both victims were punched during the assault and suffered minor injuries.

PC Derek Morrow, of the Yateley Targeted Patrol Team, said: "We believe both of these incidents are linked and are keen to trace the men responsible.

"Both incidents happened during the evening when people would have been around and they may have been witnessed by someone.

"We would ask anyone with information to contact police as soon as possible."
