Police are appealing for information after a robbery in Aldershot during the early hours of Saturday, July 4.
Between 12.50am and 1.20am a 19-year-old woman and a 21-year-old woman were walking home along Hospital Hill when they were approached by a man.
The man attempted to grab the women and then snatched a gold coloured handbag from one of them before running off.
The handbag contained £50, bank cards, keys, photographs and a digital camera. One of the victims suffered bruising to her arm and neck and a sprained wrist following the incident.

Wearing a white and blue horizontally striped polo shirt, blue jeans and white trainers.
PC Gavin Whyte, of Aldershot CID, said: “Although this robbery happened in the early hours of the morning there may have been other people around making their way home from a night out.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information about it.”
