Officers in Yateley are trying to trace three children who may have information about an incident that occurred at a Yateley play park on Saturday, July 4.
A member of the public has told police that around lunchtime, three children approached her in the play park behind the Red Cross Centre in Monteagle Lane and said a man had indecently exposed himself.
The member of the public went with the children, two boys and a girl aged about 12 years old, to look for the man but he had disappeared.
Officers are trying to trace the children as the incident has not been reported.
“PC Jonathan Richards, from the Yateley Targeted Patrol Team, said: “We are taking this report extremely seriously and are conducting a range of enquiries to try and trace these children and their parents so we can establish exactly what has happened.
“The park would have been busy and is regularly used by families and dog walkers so we would also like to hear from anyone else who was there on Saturday and may have noticed something suspicious.
“I would like to ask parents to remind their children of the stranger danger message and to report any incidents to us.”
