Detectives in Aldershot are appealing for witnesses after a public order incident in Farnborough on Saturday, July 18.
Just after 10pm police were called to Chapel Lane where around 100 people had gathered in the street during a party in the area.
Approximately 30 people within this crowd were involved in violent and anti-social behaviour.
Officers dispersed the crowd after approximately an hour and a half and no serious injuries were reported.
Detective Constable Andy Grieve, of Aldershot CID, said: “This was an isolated incident and the quick response from police prevented the situation from escalating.
“The disorder was contained and we have received no reports of serious injuries following the incident.
“The Farnborough Safer Neighbourhoods Team is working with residents in the area and we would ask anyone with concerns to contact them. We would also like to thank the community for their support with our investigation so far.
“We would appeal to any residents who have not yet spoken to us or anyone who was in the area at the time and may have information to contact police as soon as possible.
“Anyone who is thinking about hosting a party should think carefully about how they invite people. In this case the invite was sent to several hundred people and word about the party spread quickly. The number of people that were invited was inappropriate for the size of the address, which is in a residential area.”
Two 18-year-old men from Farnborough, an 18-year-old man from Aldershot and a 19-year-old man from Aldershot have been arrested and bailed in connection with this incident.
A 17-year-old boy from Farnborough has also been issued with a fixed penalty notice in connection with the incident.
