Police are appealing for information after a single vehicle car crash in which a Yateley youth died. At about 3.30am Saturday, November 1, a black Fiat Punto was southbound on the A327 at Minley, when the driver lost control on a lefthand bend.
The car left the road and collided with a tree. The driver, Ross Scallan, 20, of The Sett, Yateley, was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was closed for five hours to allow police to investigate the cause of the collision.
Farnborough Roads Policing Unit Sergeant Spencer Wragg said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or who saw the Punto being driven on the A327 prior to the collision to contact Operation Gulf at Farnborough Roads Policing Unit.
