Police in Yateley have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Fleet in the early hours of Sunday, July 19.

Between 2.30am and 3am a 22-year-old woman was walking along Church Road with a friend when they were approached by a man.

The man pushed her to the floor and then walked off. The victim was uninjured but shaken up after the incident.

The man is described as:

• White
• 5ft 8ins tall
• Medium build
• Short, dark hair
• Wearing a white shirt, dark tie and dark trousers

PC Mark Wukovich, of the Yateley Targeted Patrol Team, said: "This was a completely unprovoked attack that has left the victim and her friend shaken up.

"Assaults like this are rare in Fleet and this happened at a time when other people may have been making their way home from town.

"We are keen to hear from anyone with information and we would also like to speak to the man in the image in connection with the incident."
