Police are appealing for witnesses after a robbery in Farnborough on Saturday, October 10.

 

Sometime between 8.20pm and 8.40pm four youths were walking along a footpath behind the Citroen garage in Minley Road.

 

They were approached by two men who shouted at them and demanded they hand over their bags.

 

One of the victims refused to give up his bag and one of the men then punched him in the face. He suffered bruising to his head but did not require hospital treatment.

 

A rucksack and a grey canvass bag containing key rings and a grey hooded top were stolen during the incident.

The second man was wearing dark clothing.

 

PC Stephen Court, of the Farnborough Targeted Patrol Team, said: “This was an isolated incident that happened at a time when other may have been around.


“We would ask any witnesses or anyone with information to contact us as soon as possible.”
