Police in Farnborough are appealing for information after a theft in Aldershot in June.
Sometime between 9am and 9.30am on Tuesday, June 16 a rucksack was stolen from the bar area of the Goose pub in Wellington Street.
The rucksack contained the takings from the previous weekend which totalled more than £15,000.
The theft has only recently been reported to police, who now want to hear from anyone who knows anything about it.
PC Andy Gardiner, of the Farnborough Targeted Patrol Team, said: “Although this theft happened several months ago someone may have some information about it or know who is responsible.
“The pub was open for breakfast at the time and someone may have seen something.
“A substantial amount of money is missing and we would ask anyone with any information to contact us as soon as possible or contact Crimestoppers anonymously.”
