Officers are appealing for information following a suspicious incident in Aldershot on Thursday, October 22.

Between 3pm and 4pm, two 12-year-old pupils from Wavell School were waiting for a bus at the stop on Queens Avenue when the driver of a car pulled up and asked the boy and girl whether they would like a lift.

They both refused and the man drove off in the direction of Aldershot.

The driver was described as:

• White

• Aged between 30 and 40 years old

• Blond, medium length hair

• Red faced with a scar on his cheek

• Wearing a hat

• Spoke with an east London accent

The car was light blue, old and small, with four doors. The children have told police they saw a similar vehicle parked near to the Talavera School but are not sure if it was the same one that approached them.

PCSO Mitch While, from the Farnborough Safer Neighbourhoods Team, said: “Fortunately incidents like this are rare and we are conducting a range of enquiries to trace this man.

“Other people would have been in the area when this happened and I’d like to hear from anyone who may have seen something.

“I’d also like to hear from anyone who recognises the description of the man.”
