Police in Yateley are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary in Yateley on Monday, November 2.
Around 4.15pm, a man disturbed two people breaking into his premises in Heathwood Close.
He did not see the burglars, but later discovered that his Shoei blue and white helmet, which is not usually commercially available and is worth £400, had been stolen.
Officers have released a photograph of the helmet in the hope that it can be located.
PC Noel Griffiths, from the Yateley Targeted Patrol Team, said: "This is a very distinctive helmet and I would urge anyone who has seen it, or knows where it is, to contact us as soon as possible.
"Burglary is an intrusive and callous crime and can have a significant affect on someone’s feeling of safety in their own home. We are working hard to catch the people responsible and bring them to justice.
"This burglary happened in broad daylight and I’d like anyone who saw anything, or has any information that can help with this investigation, to get in touch."
