Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Farnborough on Wednesday, November 25.

 

At around 11.20am a 31-year-old man was walking his dog in the Moor Park playing fields. He was approached by another man who was walking two dogs.

 

The two dogs started to attack the first man’s dog and he then attempted to break them up.

 

The other man then approached and attacked the first man, hitting him several times with a metal dog chain.

 

The victim suffered bruising to his head, arms and legs following the incident.

 

The man is described as:

 

 

PC Lucy Gedney, of the Farnborough Targeted Patrol Team, said: “This was an isolated incident that happened in a park and may have been witnessed by someone.

 

“We would ask anyone who was at the park on Wednesday and saw anything suspicious to contact us as soon as possible.”
