Police are appealing for the driver of a Fiat to contact them following a road traffic collision in Farnborough on Friday, December 4.

Around 4.30pm, a 51-year-old woman who is profoundly deaf was walking across the zebra crossing at the Rushmoor long stay car park, just off Meudon Avenue, when she was in collision with a car.

The woman fell to the ground and the female driver of the blue Fiat got out and helped the woman to her feet.

The driver then got back into her vehicle and drove off.

The woman suffered bruising to her knee and elbow and pain in her lower back.

Officers are now trying to trace the Fiat driver.

She is described as:

PC Tony Stuart, said: “The driver did not give the woman her details and we are trying to trace her in connection with this investigation.

“I would ask her to contact her local police station, and ask anyone who knows who she is, to get in touch.”
