Police in Hook are appealing for witnesses after objects were thrown at an address between Wednesday, October 29 and Friday, October 31.

Between these dates a group of youths have thrown stones and a for sale sign at a house in Compass Field, Hook. When officers from the Hook Safer Neighbourhoods team attended one of the incidents the group of youths ran off as they arrived.

PC Jo Blanchard, said: “These are disturbing incidents in which the home of an innocent retired couple has been targeted. “One of the youths lost his shoe as he ran off and I would appeal to any parents whose child came home with a missing shoe last Thursday to contact us. “I would also urge anyone who witnessed this incident to call police as soon as possible.”
