The press release issued yesterday about a pedestrian who suffered life-threatening injuries when he was in collision with a car on the A31 at 6.40pm Monday, March 1, listed the wrong age and locality for the victim.
The victim is a 27–year-old man from Farnham, Surrey.
He remains in Frimley Park Hospital, where he is said to be stable, following surgery.
The remainder of the press release was correct, and police continue to appeal for information from witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw the red Volkswagen Golf being driven towards Farnham on the A31 prior to the collision.
