Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a robbery in Church Crookham on Tuesday, March 16.
Sometime between 10am and 10.30am a woman was walking her dog on fields to the rear of Humphrey Park.
She was approached by a man who assaulted her and stole her mobile phone. He then ran off towards Humphrey Park.
The man is described as:
- White
- Aged in his late teens or early 20s
- Medium build
- 5ft 9ins tall
- Blond hair
- Blue eyes
- Eyebrow piercing holes
- Wearing dark baggy clothing
Detective Constable Tony Tennant, of Aldershot CID, said: “This was an unusual incident and the victim has been left very shaken up by it.
“It happened during daylight in an area that is popular with local dog walkers. The victim was walking a brown boxer dog and we want to hear from anyone who saw her.
"We are particularly keen to hear from a man who was seen in the area walking a Staffordshire bull terrier and may have information about what happened.
“Were you in the area this morning? Did you see anything suspicious? If you did, please contact us as soon as possible.”
A 19-year-old man from Aldershot has been arrested in connection with this incident.
