Police are appealing for witnesses after a number of vehicles were damaged in Hook overnight between Friday, March 12 and Saturday, March 13.

Between 8.30pm on Friday and 10.15am on Saturday four vehicles in Wild Herons were damaged.

Officers believed that someone had run across the roofs and bonnets of the vehicles.

PCSO Rob Nicklin, of the Hook Safer Neighbourhoods Team, said: “A substantial amount of damage was caused to these cars and we want to trace the person responsible.

“We would ask anyone with any information to contact us as soon as possible.

“We are currently running Operation Capon across the Hart district and we want to encourage residents to contact us if they witness any suspicious activity in their neighbourhood.”
