Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Aldershot on Friday, March 19.

Sometime between 10.45pm and 11.30pm a man started a fight with another man at the Lord Campbell pub.

Two women intervened and tried to separate the men. As they did so one of the men turned on the women and punched them both in the face.

The man then kicked one of the women before being removed from the pub.

PC Glenn Spierling, of Farnborough police station, said: “This assault happened on a Friday night when the pub was busy and there would have been a number of witnesses.

“Were you at the Lord Campbell pub on Friday? Did you witness this incident or do you know anything about it?

“If you do, please contact us as soon as possible.”

A 30-year-old man from Aldershot has been arrested and bailed in connection with this incident.
