Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was indecently assaulted in Farnborough on Saturday, June 5.
At around 7.50am a 21-year-old woman was walking to work along Canterbury Road. She noticed a man ahead of her who stopped walking and walked back towards her.
The man then indecently assaulted her and indecently exposed himself to her. She then ran off and the man did not follow her.
The victim was not injured following the incident.
The man is described as:
- White
- Aged in his late 20s
- Slim build
- Short, possibly shaved, dark hair
- Gaunt
- Dark eyes
- Dirty
Wearing dark clothing
PC Lucy Hawkins, of the Farnborough Targeted Patrol Team, said: “Incidents like this are rare in Farnborough and this assault happened early in the morning.
“Although the area would have been quiet someone may have been around and seen the man responsible. We would ask anyone with any information to contact us as soon as possible.
“Officers from our Safer Neighbourhoods Team have increased patrols in the area and they would be happy to speak to any local residents with any concerns.”
