Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died following a crash in Fleet.

Colin Gray, of Lambourne Gardens, Earley in Reading, was travelling from Norris Hill towards Aldershot on the A323 at about 8.15am on Saturday, July 10, when the crash happened.

It is believed the 33-year-old, who was riding a black Honda 1000cc motorbike, was overtaking a Transit van near the junction with Aldershot Road, shortly before the crash happened.

He is thought to have lost control of his motorbike before colliding with a tree.

He sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mr Gray was a motorcycle instructor from Reading.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident.
