Detectives in Aldershot are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in the town in the early hours of Saturday, July 10.

Sometime between 1.30am and 2am, two men were walking along Arlington Terrace when they were assaulted by two teenage boys and a girl.

The victims suffered serious injuries are were taken to Frimley Park Hospital for treatment.

The 22-year-old man suffered a fracture to his left arm and the 21-year-old man suffered a cut to the back of the head, a swollen right eye and cheek and bruising and cuts to his right eye.

Detectives have released descriptions of two of the attackers.

Detective Constable Helen Calton, from Aldershot CID, said: “This was a completely unprovoked attack on two men walking home from a night out in the town.

“The area would have been busy and I’d like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this assault or saw the group responsible in the area during the early hours of Saturday morning. If you have any information that can help with the investigation, please get in touch.”
