Detectives in Aldershot are appealing for witnesses and information following a robbery on Sunday, August 1.

Around 12.15am, a 38-year-old man was returning to his home address in Walnut Close.

As he arrived home, he was approached by a man who threatened him and demanded his money.

Detective Constable Graham Robson, from Aldershot CID, said: “This was an unprovoked attack on a man returning home from work.

“Did you see anything during the early hours of Sunday morning? Do you know who was responsible for this attack? If so, please contact us."
