Detectives are appealing for information to help trace a man who used to work at an Aldershot hospital.

The man, known as Eddy, served at the Louise Margaret Hospital between 1974 and 1991.

In 1974, Eddy would have been aged between 18 and 22, white and of slim build. His appearance was described as similar to Buddy Holly and he wore the same style glasses.

When Eddy was seen in uniform in 1981, he was wearing barrack dress trousers, a black beret, black shoes and a white short sleeved tunic buttoned down the side. When he was not wearing a white tunic, he was wearing a beige Number Two dress shirt.

Detective Constable Graham Robson, from Aldershot CID, said: “We are trying to trace anyone who remembers Eddy and can help us locate his whereabouts. This is part of an investigation into serious allegations of a historic nature and we would like to hear from anyone that can help us find this man.”
