Police in Farnborough are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault at a retail park on Saturday, July 31.
Around 4pm, two men who are known to each other had an argument in the car park at Farnborough Gate Retail Park.
The argument then became physical, and one of the men assaulted the other with a metal bar.
The 37-year-old victim received hospital treatment for muscular injuries he sustained while defending himself.
PC Michael Good, from the Farnborough Targeted Patrol Team, said: “This happened in a busy retail car park on a Saturday afternoon when there would have been lots of people around.
“Thankfully this is a rare event where an argument has turned physical, and it’s even rarer for someone to then arm themselves in this way.
“If you have any information, please get in touch.”
