Police are appealing for information after a motorcycle was stolen from an address in Hook on Tuesday, November 18.
Sometime between 4pm and 4.45pm a man attended an address in Sheldons Road to look at a motorcycle that a woman had put up for sale.
The woman showed the man to the garage where the bike was and he begun to examine it. While doing so he started the engine, jumped on and drove the bike off along Sheldons Road and onto the A30.
The bike is a blue and white Suzuki GSXR superbike worth around £3,400.
The man is described as:
- White
- 5ft 11ins tall
- Short, dark brown hair
- Slender build
- Wearing black jacket and jeans
- He was not wearing a helmet when he rode off
PC Stacy Beale, of the Hook Safer Neighbourhoods Team, said: “Were you in the area at the time and did you witness a man riding a motorcycle without a helmet?
“Did you see a blue and white motorcycle being loaded into the back of a van or onto a trailer?
“If you have any information, however insignificant it may seem, contact police as soon as possible.”
