Detectives investigating the attempted murder of a woman in Aldershot on Sunday, December 28 have charged a man.

Paul Brown, 22, of Victoria Street, Kirriemuir, Angus in Scotland has been charged with four offences under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 and one charge of grievous bodily harm with intent.

He is due to appear at Aldershot Magistrates Court today, Wednesday January 31, 2008 at 10am.
