Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault near to Aldershot train station on Tuesday, January 6.  

 

At around 8.30am a 14-year-old girl was waiting for a bus outside the train station.  

 

She was approached by a group of two young women and two young men who chased her over the bridge into East Station Road where she fell over.  

 

They caught her up and then kicked her while she was lying on the floor before running off towards Manor Park.

PC Simon Monga, of the Farnborough Targeted Patrol Team, said: "This incident happened during the morning when a number of people would have been making their way to work and school.  

 

"We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who saw the girl being chased over the bridge."
