Police are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Hook on Tuesday, March 3.

Sometime between 3.15pm and 5.10pm a garage attached to a home in Holt Way was broken into and a dirt bike was stolen.

The bike is orange in colour with various stickers including the number 27 on the right hand side. It is worth around £190.

PC Stacy Beale, of the Hook Safer Neighbourhoods Team, said: "This burglary happened when the occupant popped out on Tuesday afternoon.

"If you were in the area at the time and saw anyone who was acting suspiciously please contact police as soon as possible.

"Residents are reminded to ensure their homes and garages are as secure as possible at all times."
