Police are appealing for witnesses after a hair and beauty shop was broken into in Aldershot on Wednesday, February 25.

At around 8.15pm the shutters at the rear of Capital Hair and Beauty at the North Town Trading Estate in North Lane were forced open.

Hair dryers, hair straighteners and scissors were then stolen.

PC Adam Pilton, of the Farnborough Targeted Patrol Team, said: "This was an unusual incident that happened during the evening when other people may have been around.

"We would ask anyone with information to contact police as soon as possible. We would also advise residents who are offered any items to buy under suspicious circumstances to contact police immediately."
