Police appeal for witnesses after indecent incident in Farnborough

Police are appealing for witnesses after an indecent incident in Farnborough on Monday, November 23.

Between 4pm and 4.30pm a nine-year-old girl and a 10-year-old girl were walking along Giffard Drive.

As they walked they saw a boy get off a bus. The boy shouted an inappropriate comment at the girls and then exposed himself.

The girls ran off and the boy did not follow them.

A man then shouted at them from an alleyway that leads to Shelley Rise and the girls ran off again to the Londis shop in Giffard Drive.

The boy is described as:

  • White

  • Aged between 13 and 14

  • Brown, spiky hair

  • Wearing a black jumper, black trousers and carrying a black school bag

PC Dan Ross, of the Farnborough Targeted Patrol Team, said: “This was a disturbing incident for the victims and we want to hear from any witnesses.

“The incident happened at a time of day when the roads would have been busy and there would have been a number of people in the area.

“Were you in Giffard Drive at the time? Did you see anything suspicious? If you did, contact us as soon as possible.”

CAN YOU HELP?

Anyone with information about the incident should contact PC Ross at Farnborough police station on 0845 045 45 45 or call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
