Woman dies following Aldershot shooting

A woman who was seriously injured following a shooting at an address in Aldershot has died in hospital.

The 40-year-old woman was critically ill in hospital with gunshot wounds after being shot during a domestic dispute at Church Hill on Tuesday, December 29.

She died just after 9.30am this morning. Her family have been told and have asked the media to leave them alone during this extremely difficult time.

Post mortems are currently being held on the 56-year-old man and the four-year-old girl who died at the house.

Formal identification of all the people involved should take place later today.
