Police are appealing for witnesses after a suspicious incident in Farnborough on Monday, January 25.

Between 3.30pm and 3.50pm a 15-year-old girl was walking along Guildford Road West when she noticed a man cycling along the road.

The man stopped, approached the girl and spoke to her and made an inappropriate comment.

The man then cycled off and did not follow here.

The man is described as:

  • Black
  • Aged in his mid 30s
  • Around 5ft 10ins tall
  • Medium build
  • Spoke with a Caribbean accent
  • Wearing a black coat and riding a red mountain bike

PC Campbell Patrick, of the Farnborough Targeted Patrol Team, said: “This was an unusual incident and there would have been people around in the area at the time picking their children up from school.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who saw a man matching the description in the area at the time.

“We would remind people to stick to pavements and footpaths and report any suspicious people to police as soon as possible.”
