Police appeal for witnesses to assault in Farnborough

 

Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Farnborough on Wednesday, February 3.
 
At around 9.50pm a 19-year-old man was walking along Alexandra Road when he was approached by another man.
 
The man spoke to him and then pulled a knife out of his pocket and cut the teenager on the side of his face.
 
The victim was taken to Frimley Park Hospital for treatment.
 
The man is described as:

  • White
  • Wearing a hooded black top with the hood up, black jeans and a dark scarf covering his face 

PC Tim Willis, of the Farnborough Targeted Patrol Team, said: “We believe this assault was targeted and was not a random attack.
 
“Although it happened late in the evening someone may have been driving along the road and seen the person responsible. We would ask anyone with information to contact us as soon as possible.”
